THE ROLE

To work within the Account team supporting the delivery our of client’s campaigns. Reporting into the Senior Account Manager you’ll be an essential part of the day to day running of our campaigns.

To be responsible for building and developing Undercurrent and to act autonomously to manage the full process and take ownership of your role within the department.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ACCOUNTABILITIES- CLIENT SERVICE

  • Client facing communications – including day to day business development
  • Receiving briefs from a client and supporting in formulating the pitch deck response
  • End to end campaign management, including overseeing of timelines, suppliers, budgets and clients
  • Writing briefs for all relevant internal departments or sister agencies, including staffing, creative and production
  • Sourcing and overseeing all elements for a campaign, including giveaways, experiences, and merchandise
  • Creating relevant presentation decks for account management teams
  • Managing of the costing and the reconciliation of all budgets associated with campaigns
  • Research, brief and manage all suppliers and partners required for each campaign
  • Build and maintain strong, trusting and honest relationships in line with the key disciplines
  • Being present for all creative briefings and inputting to ensure client goals are met
  • Attend internal meetings and write reports to summarise key actions
  • Manage all ROI and reporting for campaigns
  • To manage and be present on site for live activations
  • Supporting other teams where needed
  • Researching and collating up to date information and contributing to the companies social media
  • To be actively involved in writing blogs and have input into company updates
  • Training for junior members of the team to ensure their development is achieved

  • Carry out regular site visits and feedback relevant information to the team and agency, putting these findings in to practice helping develop the team.

  • Effectively manage own time, workload and resources and that of freelance staff.
  • Ensure that all work is accurate, and attention has been given to the finer details and ensure they are leading by example for more junior staff.

  • Ensure that all colleagues are kept up to date with any changes in projects
  • Work in partnership with all team members, including cross agency teams

  • Initiate team catch ups and de-brief session
  • Show initiative and recommend changes to processes where applicable

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Possession of appropriate qualifications or at least 2 years’ experience at Account Executive level
  • Expertise in and experience of developing and executing experiential campaigns, including excellent knowledge of events, exhibitions, guerrilla and retail brand experiences
  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy and advanced skills around the creation of Power Points ensuring the ability to confidently present to colleagues and clients
  • Excellent communication skills across a range of contacts
  • A strong understanding of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Awareness of confidentiality and data protection requirements
  • Ability to be flexible and contribute to other areas of the business where required
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems
  • Be able to multitask and have strong organisation skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Have strong attention to detail with a robust follow through
  • To be able to build strong connections both internally and externally
