Give up clothes for good

tk maxx & grazia

Partnership between TK Maxx and Grazia to encourage shoppers to ‘Give up Clothes for Good’ supporting Cancer Research Charity. We hosted an event at TK Maxx’s flagship Oxford Street store with panelist Laura Whitmore.

Challenge

The event was live during store opening hours within a confined space. We needed to create a comfortable space and allow interaction with the panellists without disrupting other shoppers.

Insight

From previous in store events, we knew sound disruption would be a major issue for the audience and speakers.

Solution

40 members of the public came to learn from a host of celebrity panellists, including Laura Whitmore and AJ Odudu, who discussed their passion for the sustainability in the retail industry.

We set up a full event area, inclusive of a stage, back-drop, lighting and audio, as well creating a comfortable audience area in the small in-store space.

Upon arrival, guests were treated to an intimate session with the celebrity panellists where they could enjoy canapes and drinks before being seated for the talk.

All guests were provided with wireless headphones which linked up to the panellists, ensuring a clear discussion and avoiding sound disruptions throughout.

Result

The event ran smoothly from install to de-rig, with positive feedback received from clients, store managers and guests.

Ticket Holders: “There’s been some really inspiring conversations to take away today, it’s been really good!

Store Manager (Oxford Street flagship store): “Thanks so much for your event today, you have all been amazing from start to finish! A successful event with minimal disruption to our store throughout. Thank you!”

“Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for yesterday, everyone was so happy with the result! Thanks so much for all your work in making it super slick.”
