We executed an unforgettable Samsung sales incentive to identify and reward top performing Vodafone call centre and retail agents. Culminating once-in-a lifetime trip to Iceland.

Challenge

To ensure cut through and sales uplift of the latest Samsung S10 5G device in Vodafone call centres and retail stores nationwide during the month of December.

The top prize needed to be a holiday destination within a 4hour flight time

Insight

We tapped into our knowledge from previous incentives within Vodafone. We know agents like ‘money can’t buy’ experiences and would like a change from the sunny destinations other manufacturers were offering.

Solution

15 Vodafone employees could win an all-expenses paid VIP trip to Iceland courtesy of Samsung.

Utilising our overarching Samsung GO incentive platform, we immediately resonated with Vodafone employees, re-connecting with those from previous incentives as well as enticing many more to take part.

Winners were treated to exclusive private tours and amazing experiences. Including the Blue Lagoon, watching the Northern Lights and riding through the snow with huskies.

Result

Handset sales were up 38% in December compared to the previous year.

100% of the winners rated the incentive trip 10 out of 10!
