Bang & Olufsen, the premium Danish electronics retailer with a near 100-year history, approached Undercurrent to open their first ever London pop up store!

Challenge

We needed to be bold. To stand out. To challenge the preconceived ideas of B&O and appeal to a younger, more diverse audience.

Partnering with a number of different brands, we brought the space to life whilst still focusing on the amazing B&O product range.

Insight

We created a striking, bright space bang in the heart of trendy Shoreditch.

We organised a calendar of events including live DJ and acoustic music sessions, and several experiences with brand partners that aligned with B&O’s strong values.

Solution

Guests could attend whisky tasting evenings with Johnnie Walker Blue Label, feel the superior sound of B&O audio with Pitchblack Playback & experience live music at special Sofar Sounds gigs.

Vinyl records could be purchased through our partnership with Flashback Records on the legendary B&O Beogram.

Result

Through our partnerships, including with Danish brand Hagen, as well as London Fields beer and Champagne PIAFF, we established a network of events for the public to attend.

We activated over 30 events in the month the pop up was live
