A Samsung Smasher at The Consumer Electronics Show - Vegas 2011

So it's nearly the end of Jan (phew, thank the heavens
that's over), but the beginning of Jan (which is actually
officially the 3rd, as the 1st and 2nd are generally a write off)
saw the annual Consumer Electronics Show take place amongst the
glitz and the glamour of Las Vegas.
This year we sent a spy - our colleague Jack - to check it out.
After drinking too much and losing heavily at the blackjack tables
(he claimed before he left that he is a gifted card counter, but we
now think that he just meant he can count how many cards he
has in his hand at any one time), he came back with the low-down on
what's hot for 2011, and it was great to see some of our clients
maintaining their positions at the absolute forefront of consumer
technology.
Jack's pick of the bunch was the new Samsung
ZX310 laptop. Boasting serious power, airbook lightness
and a design finish that gives anything Apple make a serious run
for it's money, it's a serious early contender for laptop of the
year at the Undercurrent Technology Awards
(UTA's). Lovely.
